I’m a food and travel photographer and writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I shoot in a reportage style, informed by my background in news photography and cultural anthropology. As a father of three, I love to travel around the Bay Area and the world with my wife and kids, documenting small businesses, local food, and unique luxury travel experiences.
My photos routinely appear in publications including Food & Wine Magazine, Condé Nast Traveler, People Magazine, Travel + Leisure, The New York Times, Eater, Time Magazine, and many more. As Co-Founder and CEO of Gado Images, I have a deep background in photojournalism, as well as partnerships with many of the world’s leading photo agencies, ensuring a broad audience for my work.
As a journalist and writer, I routinely write for The Bold Italic in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as News Break, Debugger, One Zero, and more. My audience of 14,000+ on Medium have viewed my articles about food, travel and tech more than 12 million times. I also run a YouTube channel, and am an Amazon Influencer. I’m a member of the National Press Photographers’ Association (NPAA) and a board member of the Digital Media Licensing Association (DMLA).
